I bet the altered don't weigh 3000# though.....

FTF- I guess you recieve National Dragster also. It's a cool little ride at 1,735 lbs w/driver in it. A 3000+ lb street legal car on drag radials is no slouch! They are both cool rides in there own right

Anyone have a direct link to the video of John Cunninghams turbo 66 Nova Wagon, mentioned above?

I tried the hot rod magazine, pump gas shootout but for some reason, that car is no longer listed in the videos.

I tried the 1320 video link above but for some reason, it doesn't show up as the turbo nova.

I had this video on my desktop at one time, made some changes etc., now its gone, would like to replace it. Thanks

BTW, nice drag truck, good luck with it.

He even ran an 8.6 the last day, but that was after we followed him and saw him load his car on the trailer 1/3 of the way through the trip to the next track.

Needless to say he didn't finish in the standings.

Wasnt the car loaded up behide a hotel during the drive and the next morning it was out in front like they drove it all the way. I seen all the picutres on one of those sites. I think the car is bad a-s but I lost respect for the guy on that deal.

Yes the car is EXTREMELY badass... to make a long story short, we followed them for about 5 hours and waited for them to finish eating at a restaurant for an hour and waited for them to stop talking at a rest stop for another hour, then they finally drove down the interstate, pulled onto a dirt road and loaded it up.

And yes, they had it sitting in front of the entrance for the hotel for everyone to see that they made it... kinda

There was a better video of this Nova , it also had a 2000 something 10 sec. blue Chevy truck, another Nova w/a big block weighing it...but I can't find that link again... does anyone have it?
