This is most likely a long shot here, however, I'll ask anyway.
When I get my turbo manifold done if anyone else wanted one, once the CNC mill is setup its a not hard to knock out extras.
http://www.steedspeed.com Time frame is mid-end of April. I'll post a revised mainfold design shortly.
I have seen their site before kinda pricey But great looking peices when they are done. But when you figure in all the R&D time it's not so bad.
Being billet - it won't crack like cast manifold or burn through like tubular headers. Basically a manifold for life.
i sure am glad you are doing the hard work. developing parts from air is hard. you need to start writing a book. tom
I went to the website but couldnt find much on prices, products sure look good.
I am going to build a turbo charged 292 for my 50 chevy coupe and am interested on some more information.
Sammy
Need to add the flanges and its done.
Also I maybe working on a variant that hangs the turbo under the manifold.
For the 292 if your doing a lower pressure install (e.g. under 14 psi) check with Tom - he has a cast manifold that already to go. I also have a set to turbo flanges for sale check the classified ads.
Final cut on the turbo manifold - Working on the wastegate flange and adapter now.

Looks nice.
Is there a provision for a wastegate?
MBHD
Yes,
If you look at the pix, you can see 2 ports in the bottom of the manifold under the turbo flange, the waste gate will be attached there.
Sorry its been so long, Im on so many forums I cant always remember where I posted what.
Those pix look very interesting, a lot of work so far Im sure. Im still a turbo nubie and reading Corkys book, again.
My engine is about ready to go, I need to build a head. The car is getting a nova clip this coming winter, this car is in need of everything. So from a design standpoint, its a clean canvas.
Im still trying to decide whether or not I want to go with a carb(s) or fuel injection, which I also know little about lol.
The main goal of the car is for local cruising. I want it to be dead reliable. I have built so many radical hotrods that should not even be street drivin, that this time around I want something I can put the family in and go with little to worry about, I must be getting old.
292 bored 60 (301)? 5spd likley out of a s10, and a 68 nova rear end, havent checked the ratio yet. To give ya an idea where Im headed.
Thanks
Sammy
