I'm heading to Pick 'n Pull this afternoon and hoping to track down a 200R4 transmission. I know they used them from 1980-1991 in El Caminos, Monte Carlos, and Olds Cutlass. What other makes and models did they come in? (including models that might have dual pattern). Hoping for a stroke of luck. Thanks.
Since you are going to a junkyard,,, could you look to see if there are any Chevy Caviler Z34 hood vents?
I would like to get those if possible.

Sorry,,,for the thread jacking.

You seem to know more than I do about what cars to look for a 2004R.
Goodluck!

If you want a 200-4R you need to look for a Buick, Pontiac,or Oldsmobile. Most Chevys with ODs used the 700-R4. As far as I know all the 200's had both bellhousing bolt patterns. Joe

Thanks all, I found one on craigslist for $100 locally. Should be a winner. I appreciate it.
