I am looking at a couple different options for my truck.
1. Going with a three speed manual overdrive.
2. Putting a freshly built TH350 behind the 250.

If I go with the TH350 would I need a different crossmember? My truck is a 66 C10 with a three on the tree.
You can also use a 4 speed manual w/an OD also.

Ask Tlowe about that option. Saginaw cast iron 4 speed IIRC?

Yeah, but I'm hoping to keep the shifter on the column.
Well.,,,
if the 3 spd trans was like my Saganaw 3 spd in my Camaro,,,it mounts the same, also a short tailshaft 350,Aluminum Powerglide,Muncie 4 speed,I even installed a Monza 5 spd in the stock tranmission crossmember,IIRC, I just had to slide it back a couple inches for the 5 sspd,IIRC,it was called a T50???
