has anybody seen or had dealings with the company selling the australian ford 250 six-cylinder engine with the cross-flow heads on ebay? sounds interesting but i am worried about actually getting the engine. sorry i have no link but dont know how to do that yet.

does any body know if an automatic pverdrive trans will work with that engine, and if so, which one and how?

thanks,

Not to take away from all the wonderful ford info here, \:\) , but you need to head on over to http://fordsix.com/forum/ and ask this question, not sure if they dealt with the dealer you speak of but there are a few using the australian crossflow head.

If anyone's interested, I can locate and ship these engines any time.

No, I haven't done it before, but that's never stopped me in the past.

As my nephew lamented the other day, "Yanks are paying a thousand bucks for those engines, and here we can find them on the tip!" It's true, whether you want the crossflow head in iron or aluminum, or if you want to go to the OHC head, there are stacks of them around.
