I know that they rocker ratio is 1.75 on a 250, I have a set of sbc 1.7 roller rockers ( 3/8 stud ), will these rockers fit the 250 engine ? I understand I will lose a little lift at valve, just wanting to know if they would work.

They will not work,you need BBC 1.7 or other ratios.
