Bought a Chevy circle track motor a while back. (250) Time to freshen it up. It has what appears to be a Small Block fuel pump (Holley).
My question is, will a sbc pump work? (it's just upside down)
What? Nobody knows? Afraid to answer? Or is this a common known thing that I should have already known?

I'd be surprised if the lever arms were the same.
Now that I'm not alone I'm not afraid any more. The GM inlines do not use the same fuel pumps as the V8s. The exception is that an after market inline electric fuel pump could be used on either one. Beater
Yeah, the mounting flange might look similar but the pump arm is much different.
Just wondering if someone were to fab up a 6 cyl arm to work on a SBC FP would it work?

MBHD, As you stated in ( Blowen & Inj.) forum if a "Race Pump" could be used.
The Stewart "Race Pumps" for a V8 are a great design, but on a V8 the pump uses a pushrod that is moved by the cam lobe and works on the pump arm; on a six the arm rides on the cam lobe itself because the cam is very close to the pump.
If you look at a picture of the Race Pump it has a short plunger sticking out from the gasket surface and maybe it could be extended to ride on the cam lobe.
This would be a great setup.

You could just swap arms for that matter, but I bet theres more to it than that or companies would be making them that way to start with.
As i remember about fuelpump recommendation used at an supercharger setup (VS57 ?)
You could use the SBC high performance pump, but needed to change the arm to use on a inliner.....so it should go!
