sorry I'm late guys. saw one on a circle track modified w/straight six for sale a while back on ebay. kind of looks like this: comes off head up direction like a fenderwell header, then pipes twist as it runs behind head above bellhousing. then in a direction somewhat down with the collector. looks racy as all hell,and must be as loud too as collector points to the sidewalk(or grandstand in the situation of the race car).

Sounds like a Nascar style of header to get the exhaust away from the driver to the passenger side, for a 6 it would probably have to be fabricated, Speedway sells them for bent 8's.

allright found this querry also, Shoenfelt headers produce this header for modifieds and call it a crossover header. you can see a picture of one in Leo Santucci's Chevrolet inline six cylinder power manual, page 124 lower picture to satisfy your curiosity if you had any.
