Ok guys so i've been away for a bit but i'm back and recently purchased a microsquirt controller. My plan is to use it to control an HEI distributor. The reason I am going this route is because of all the options that become available. I will be able to pull timing under boost, set a rev limiter, 2 step, I can create a "safe space" where the engine can pull timing if afr gets out of whack and some other cool stuff. Still doing research but will try and update as I go.

Has anyone used one of the coil in cap distributors off ebay?

Thanks

Ok thanks so then some form of injector driver would be needed. What I meant about sealing was of the tbi unit itself...can it see boost pressure without leaking like a siv, I can't seem to find much info about turbo setups using tbi.

Matt

The one item that you will need to deal with is the boost reference
for the fuel pressure reg (FPR).

You will need to get an aftermarket FPR and then seal/reference the back side of the FPR to manifold.

Sealing the tbi should no be a problem.
