I have a '52 chev 2dr ht. The heater motor control switch is located on the "air" lever on the dash. Has anyone been able to use this switch when they converted to a 12V system?

You shouldn't have any problems with the original switch if it still is in good working order.
6 volt switches had to carry a much higher amperage than at 12 volts. I'm still using the original 6 volt headlight switch and dimmer switch in my 37 Chevy that has been converted to 12 volts for over 3 years.

Should use a relay instead of just wiring direct. Actually you should use two wired together.Give me your email add and I'll email you the schematics. Cheers!!!

Say now I was told to run a 20 amp fuse to the fuse block while I wire her up? Whats the difference in a fuse vs. a relay JMORAN is talking about?
