Good to know. Does this mean you can do strokers as well? Say 4.250 or ?? Do you have a website or contact info?

John
Im an individual restorer, builder, engine builder who has longstanding alliances with many engine people. My group cnc machines the billets all other processes are done by 3 well known firms in California. Yes, strokers can be done. The standard crank we are doing is 4". This is a new offering and will ramp up according to demand. We have one engine running with these parts turbocharged on methanol in a drag car making 1190 hp 1050#ft torque with the LS head on the dyno. Thanks for inquiry, happy to respond to questions.

G.H. I'd love to see a picture of the turbo drag car. What kind of body is it? This is the first engine I've heard of that is running with the hybrid LS head. Many thanks

Flyer ive typed you 2 long messages and lost them both,so I'll make this one brief. I built the LS head and build the cranks and rods .Co in N.C. built turbo engine. I built 2 engines for street use. I dont have picture of drag car its a 92 mustang outlaw type car ran last fall 8.16/172 mph 1/4 4.80/143 1/8. Dorton engine development built engine. Billet caps on block billet crank forged rods chevy piston bullet roller cam precision turbo. I can give you more background but need to get better at typing Thanks for inquiry

Flyer
Just saw your inquiry, thanks this project arose out of need for good rotating parts and has morphed. I have been in motorsports over 50 yrs, worked in engineering with G.M. corvette in bowling green ky. For 30 yrs. I needed an engine for a 1936 indy car so this is how this started ford 300 with LS L92 fabbed head, it worked very well. Then some drag race people saw it and wanted to try it. I knew the rotating group would have to be bullet proof, no parts for it so i started making them with my cnc Co. Skilled trades Ltd. We do the rough machining others do the other

processes crank is 4340 billet 4" stroke rods are 4340 at 6.420" we increased the mains and rod dimensions to big block chevy sizes, standard crank size is just not heavy enough for extreme turbo power. We also can make cranks standard. Chevy small block pistons are used ,so many possibilities and off the shelf also.I have built 2 of these engines for street use . people in North Carolina associated with Dorton engine development did the turbo engine. I supplied the rotating group and built the LS heAd. Flyer this message came back, GH

Thank you GH for the reply. I will keep your contact info and if the need arises for a billet crank I'll know who to turn to.

Interesting about your '36 Indy car. I am building a replica of the same era - with a crossflow 300 Ford made to look oldish. I have a '36 Ford title for it so maybe I'll license it too.

I have a spare forged crank turned down to SBC rod journal sizes that I am keeping for a spare for my crossflow drag car, that's all. Sorry

I would still like to see a pic of your 1936 Indy car with a Ford 300 crossflow head. Heres mine nearing completion. The engine has been test fired on an engine stand.
