Came across this info on another site, thought I would pass it along....

mentions a company has redesigned the head and block of the ford 4.9, to make these components even stronger and supposedly they are producing or have plans to produce these parts soon. The intent is to replace the existing industrial engines (air port shuttles, generators etc.) and convert them to hydrogen, but they still offer a gas version. Curious, how accurate to the original 4.9 block are these, as in, could they be a replacement block for a passenger vehicle? We shall see....

Check it out.

the hydrogen power thing is really no different than any engine as a matter of fact it's old news that someone wants you to believe is new check out this hydrogen get up that was done in france and canada and oh yeah some guy in california some time ago yeah its crude but it works on just about any engine. test of a lawnmower check out this crazy nut and his lawnmower will it run on water?

The hydrogen concept isn't whats interesting, its the fact they have redesigned and reproduced the ford 300 block and head, beefed up the weak areas, not that they really need to be stronger. \:\)

Yes, I received your e-mail and replied...thanks
They say they've done this, but currently, the engines they're selling are using "seasoned" blocks and heads, and I can't help but wonder when, if ever, we'll see the new castings.
