This is something I think some of you might be interested in. OK, I'm a Nova owner, but I also have a '68 Mustang, and I saw this in one of the Mustang magazines I subscribe to. There is a company now making an aluminum head for Ford inline sixes, both the 144-170 and the 240-300 cid engine families. The name of the company is Classic Inlines, and you can check out their products on their website, which is www.classicinlines.com. I was impressed by the looks and the writeup of these heads. Wish they made them for 194-292 Chevy sixes, but maybe down the road somewhere.................
They don't have a head available for the 300 yet. Still in developlment stages.

64nova, FTF is right the cylinder head for the big six is still in developement and should be released we hope by years end.We plan on developing heads for the us chey and mopar 6's in the near future once the ford heads are done. One of our customers this past weekend took his mustang to the track and nearly took 1sec. and 1/10th off his previous et by swiching from an log head with a holley 5002bl carb to the new aluminum cylinder head on a 200.(et's went from 16.31 to a best of 15.28@88mph)The 63 falcon that is pretty much our R&D car has run abest of 10.95 @124mph with a turboed 250 and aluminum head.We even have a customer running the new head on the HOTROD Power Tour to test it on the road.
