A freind of mine is putting a 200" Turbocharged Ford into a 240Z and is having clearance problems with the pan, the crossmember locates in the same place as the oil pump and he needs another 2" to properly level the engine.

Has anyone experienced this, and/or suggest a solution.

An external, cog belt driven oil pump, like a Weaver, used on many sprint, midget, and modified roundy rounders.
