I don't recall ever being told that the BB was being cleaned out and old threads would be removed.

However, there are a great many old threads that have disappeared. In particular, there was one about the big 370 and 413 cubic inch flathead sixes, there were pics of one being used at a junkyard in California.

Is there any chance of this stuff being retrieved?

Our search feature is confusing to use almost to the point of useless. Here are the names of two of those threads. I hope this helps. If not go to the ADVANCED search and put in less than 5 years and more than 6 weeks. Try big Chrysler, big Dodge etc. You will eventually find it. Beater
