My old 302 GMC is for sale. The block needs to be decked. Will take $5000 for the complete package or $2500 for the blower setup. Email garyhartracing@yahoo.com or phone 417-830-1504 for all the details.

The GMC has been sold, it's going to Utah.

Maybe we'll see it at Bonneville?

Plans are to install the 302 in my 37 Chevy 2dr Sedan.

I'm sure I'll be a little more active here since I'll need lots of advice as the project progresses. The rear end is finished using a Nova axle and springs/shock kit. The front end is about 75% complete using a dropped tube axle with 54 Chevy spindles/brakes and stock style side steering. I have a core 302 I was planning to rebuild but decided to go this route.

Engine will be picked up this week. Gary has been great to work with.

Bonneville is not in the plans but never rule anything out.

Well maybe you'll just drive it out and hang out. This sounds like a fun build. Thanks for sticking with a front axle rather than some late model front clip. '37s are good looking. Show us some pictures and keep us up on your build. Someday one of my 302s will find it's way into my '53 pickup to replace the 270.
