Noticed this past July 4th that my clutch started slipping a little and also dragging a little...(meaning it wouldn't fully release so the trans would shift into first when I came to a stop)... I had adjusted the linkage so that it would release fully but in the process wouldn't go out far enough to let the pressure plate do it's job properly. When it was dead cold it was okay but when it heated up as it did over the 4th I realized I had a problem. So, once again, under the truck I go... (I seem to remember this being more fun 20 years ago and 30 pounds lighter than it is now)

Anyway... Plenty of slop in the clutch linkage. So off everything came. I made bushings for the rather crude and worn holes in the linkage and bell cranks and hand fitted the pushrods back into them... Took it out today and started adjusting the linkage and it now works properly... No slipping, and full release when stopped.

Next up is the overdrive. It's ready to go , just have to wire it up.

The fun continues.
