First timer here...So I got my duals hooked up and had to reuse the stock intake...I ran a brass fitting from the block and it has a leak. I’m pretty sure I just over tightened the npt but I’m gonna tear it down and was curious what you guys have used and don’t have to worry about it leaking. It’s just going to be more of a PITA when the exhaust is on so I would kinda like to knock it out now.

What did you use for sealant on the fitting to the block? It is a pipe thread. I like to use white teflon tape and for insurance sometimes use pipe dope also.

Ditto on the teflon tape. You have to seal the threads or they'll leak.
