The Spal fans are really slimline if you are hurting for space. There are several companies. Slips my mind right now ,but you can install a probe, my friend runs a small wire w/probe on the end of the wire into the airstream of his intercoolers inlet & outlet, & uses a westech dual temp gauge. IIRC
