thanks for the links ill do some research on this.

i'm also looking at a 12 valve cummins with trans and converter for 1500-4000.00 depending on the miles so that would be another option for my 66 chevy short bed step side truck it already has a turbo.

i would really like to keep the engine,trans, and ecm combo aroung 2500 to 4000.
i have plenty of differnt turbos wastegates and blow off valves available to me thru all of my racing connections for a gas engine.

Nothing wrong with a 6BT, just don't forget there's a several hundred pound difference in weight (over the front axle) as well as all the rest of the drivetrain having to be much stronger (because of the torque).
