I have a 47 Chevy 2 ton ex fire truck with a really good running 216. Thinking about converting to HEI or pertronix ignition. The engine has the early 10 mm spark plugs, I'm wondering if anyone knows of 10 mm resistor plug in an appropriate heat range?

I'd get new. I put 80mm on my HEI set up. 10 is just not enough. You'll likely get shocked if you touch them when they're wet (and a shock from an HEI is pretty powerful...).

Check out Green Spark plug in the UK:

they are a wealth of interchange data and a source to buy in a pinch.

I am using a war surplus '42 head on my 216 build. It has 10mm plug holes with a thick casting above the combustion chamber - which lead me to search for a plug with extra reach:

The Champion Z6 should get the job done for me - but it is not a resistor plug.
