Hello, I plan on fuel injecting and supercharging either a 250 or 292 (not sure which I'll use yet)

how do I choose a cam?

I lnow that it should have low overlap but thats about it.. should I just pick the first cam I see in the santucci book?

Blowers typically use a milder cam than a naturally aspirated engine so you are on the right track. The best advice I can offer is what I would do. Decide what brand cam you like and then call their tech line and discuss it with them. Make sure you have all the rest of your engine info ready as they usually will ask you about more than just the blower and engine displacement.

Another good source of advice is a shop that only builds blower engines. One of those shops is Big Al's Toy Box in Connecticut. They primarily build V8 engines but have been in the blower engine building business for almost 20 years.
