I have two 302s in my shop that I am going to get running. These engines have not run for many years. Consequently the pistons are seized.
Both engines were rebuilt not long before they were parked,
One engine is disassembled and is the hot tank as we speak.
The cylinder bores are .110? over size, so this may involve installing sleeves. Which I can do , however these engines are not going to see a lot of use, so I am tempted to replace the pistons and save the cylinders .
I have a Van Norman piston grinder.
Anyone know where I can buy unfinished pistons??
Back in day they were not unheard of, but that was a long time ago.
The other option is to source a set of .110? OS pistons and live a little extra piston to cylinder clearance.

Egge Machine is a possibility for cast, unfinished pistons...they may be able to provide oversized for what you need as well that are finished...
