A few of my amigos out here in the desert north of L.A. tell me to watch my r.pm.'s while driving my stock 1 barrel 235'chevy. What is the max. r.p.m.'s I should run the Stovebolt at? Thank You.

4000 peak, keep it below 3000 for long term cruise. If it has been balanced 4500 should be ok.
1950 Chevy pickup with '62 261, 4 speed.
