Does anybody know of any stock radiator that would fit (or would come close to fitting), into a stock 1930 Ford Model-A shroud?

I thought I would a least ask before I shell out $400 for a custom made radiator for my Chevy 261 powered street rod.

Dear Ed;

$400 seems 'normal' these days.

Redaiator cores come in several sizes you just need to look in the catalog. Around $250 +/-. The labor making the straps & geting the niples in the right place @ $80 an Hr. goes fast.

This is "key part" in your car, perhaps one out of an industrial usage (forklift, generator) will work.

Good luck, John M....

Another way would be to just take your measurements and then a trip to the wrecking yard. Even if you found a radiator that needed servicing the small price you pay at the wrecking yard would offset that. I've found many a radiator this way. Good source.

Try a Dodge Dart or '65 Mustang. They're compact and plentiful. I have one new repop '65 Mustang w/ electric fan to sell cheap.
