I have to repair an engine , but can ,t find any info on it .
Maybe somebody can help.

There is a metal plate on the engineblock.
With the following info.

gmc engine g508
fsn 2805-709-9622
bore 3 25/32 cyl 6 str 4
assembled&produced by
jml corp
los angeles
calif. usa

The motor is still running and all , but before starting to work on it i need to now where to buy parts for it .(since i live in the netherlands europe )

The engine sits in a 1948 gmc paneltruck serial#fc 101 22439.

Any help welcome.

3.78" bore X 4" stroke is a 270 GMC.

GMC 2-1/2Ton Military truck motor. This site has a little more info. Napa has parts. Looks like it was one we forgot to bring home!
