What oilpan is used on A 71 Nova W/inline 250? Thanks for any replies

It's a rear sump oil pan a 250 is stock to many Novas clean from 68-78 when they stopped making the Nova body style. any camaro ,chevelle, Ventura,Truck 250 pan will work. Why are you needing a pan?

Thanks John&Larry for your reponse to my ? To answer your ? larry,I have A 250 built & will put it in the Nova.I had herd that the Nova has differnt oilpan than all others , as my 250 has truck pan I won't have to change it,witch is good news. Thanks again, Bob B

The 62-67 Chevy IIs have different pans, but the 68 on cars use a rear sump.

Right Bruce the 62-67 use a center sump. But The REAR sump pans work I have been running them for over 17yrs. But they will not work with the power steering unit.
