When I put the 292 in my 64 Chevelle I just couldn't see how I'd find a place for a conventional motor mount on the right side.
(a lot of air between engine and frame)
I ended up making an aluminum plate that attaches to the 292's motor mount and fuel pump mounting holes. I then used a regular Chevelle 6 cyl motor mounts on both sides.
The holes at the fuel pump mount had to be countersunk to allow the engine side bracket to fit and I used flat head allen bolts.
Of course you have to use an electric pump.
Sorry no pictures but it wasn't that hard.
Does require some precision in drilling the holes.

At least with a '50 Chevy station wagon chassis you ought to have enough head room for the 1-3/4" taller 292.
