Is there a better way to cap the unused vacuum ports on a carb? I am running three singles and don't need the ports on the end two carbs. I tried caps and hoses that are plugged, but they dry rot. Any other ideas will be appreciated.

Not that I'd do it this way BUT you could always use some RTV or epoxy( small dab on the epoxy this way you could clean it out at anytime)

You might be able to solder them closed.

Discovered that the throttle linkage was rubbing two of the caps. SO I shortened the inlets, bought better caps and used some RTV. So far, so good. Thanks for the help.
