Today is the day we dropped the 261 in my '50 sedan. It went very smoothly but....
My new Clifford headers are not clearing the steering arm. The ends are very close together and the front header end flange is behind the vertical arm of the steering linkage, so the arm swings into the flange on any degree of left turn.
Has anyone else had this problem or do you think I was sent a set for a different car?

Just a followup. It was the wrong header that was sent (a little mix-up between a '60 engine and a '50 car). I called them up today and they agreed to an exchange, so everything is looking good.
