Has anybody had any experience installing a hydraulic throwout bearing in a 235/261. Can it be done?

Dear Ed;

If you are speaking of a hydraulic clutch release system, yes.

The Chevy trucks used that for a while in the 60s. The fork was on the R/side with the 'slave cyl & the master had two parts (side by side).

This is what is used to put a stick in a 6 cyl Vette.

Ford did it too in late 50s.

Ed,

The hydraulic "puck" type T.O. should fit in any vehicle the manufacturer specifies, doesn't matter if it's V8 or a six. I wouldn't use one that is only held in place by the plumbing. I haven't installed one, just investigated it a bit.
