can anyone tell me if i need to change my rear backing plates on my 46 chevy when i change over to the bendex brakes.i replaced the front hubs and backing plates.and,does,anyone a pair a rear hubs and backing plates for sale in the sacramento area or what else can i use tahnks all.what happened to stovebolt web page? thanks tony

yes you have to change the backing plates.

Dear Tony;

With Bendix in the front the Huck brakes in the rear will be okay, if there in good shape.

Sometime in the future, you may want to change out that (closed drive) rear end and the brakes will come with the new etc.

Good luck.

Make sure you got a later e-bake cable, the one you got won`t work.
