I am just now starting to "warm up" my 302 Gmc engine for use in a '49 pick-up mstreet rod. Any comments or advice for good speed equipment and sources is much appreciated. Maybe a roller cam??????

For some new and used equipment try Tom Langdon's Stovebolt (see the changing banner at the head of the Inliners homepage). For new speed equipment and rebuilding parts, write to Patrick Dykes at patstrks@aol.com and request a catalogue. For the high-end, new speed equipment (reproduction 12-port heads and McGurk manifolds) see Nick Zaillian's Wayne Manufacturing Company (http://waynemfgco.com/).

Used equipment will occasionally appear in the "Classifieds" on the Inliners website and in the 12-Port News, which you receive if you are a member.

God's Peace to you.

It takes time and luck but EBay is a good source. I got a 5 carb Mc Gurk intake and a bunch of Zenth 28's with adjustable main jets there.
