hi, been awhile since my last post, and looking for some help here. is it possible to use a offy 4bbl. intake with the stok exshaust? this is on a 68 chevy 2, 230 L6. plan on running a edlebrock 500 cfm on it. thanks.

those should mate up together. look at the bottom of the intake. does it have the bolt flange to mate with the exhaust. tom

OK, looking at the offy, it does have a bolt flange to mate with the exshaust. so, does this mean i just use the stock gasket that goes between the intake and exshaust? no need for water heat if thats the case correct? i allready have HEI in it. i just want to do the project nice and slow. no big hurry. what u guys think, and other recomendation? thanks.

i would think that heat would be sufficient. it worked great for the cast iron manifolds. if you go to headers then you'll need the water heat. tom

Just curious who makes the water heat plate to replace the exhaust heat if running headers?
