Hoggyrubber is right, but if you only want to get the innards of the lock out and not take the whole thing out of the dash, try this. Put the key in the ignition and turn it to the lock position, all the way to the left. You can used a torch tip cleaner if you have one handy, but if you don't, take a medium sized paper clip and unbend about a third of it, then put the end of the part you just straightened out into the small hole next to the key slot and push gently. You should be able to feel it move slightly, then turn the lock cylinder to the left and pull it toward you and it should come right out.
