i am looking for the approximate correct color for the engine in a 38 plymouth coupe. my engine had 4 layers of paint of various colors. the bottom color of dark green which was only in a few spots seems to be the original.
Bob, try Bill Hirsch Auto Paints http://www.hirschauto.com They have paint codes for just about any US engines, and very nice folks to deal with. Their engine enamel is second to none.
