Dear Six;

There are as many different fastners as fish in the sea.

The place to start is an automotive paint store that supplies the local Body Shops. Take the one(s)needed with you & try to match them.

Next would be a big Body Shop. They will have a thousand or so(new/used).

Private vendors sell these to a number of shops "all over" & have a route they travel. You'll need to meet with one if the above measures fail.

Good luck, John M...

Mr.Meridith,
I'm new here, and I hope this helps.
I found Fasteners Plus (on eBay as 67cayne).
Need 1945 Studebaker speed nuts? this guys got
'em. PO Box 235, Altha, FL.32421. tel.(850)762-2179.
Haven't used him yet but it looks promising.
All stainless of course?!

Has anyone ever been able to get a Dormans/
Motormite catalogue if you're not in business, or even if you are?
Good fishing./Bob P.

Dear Bob;

That's a good question & a strange thing.

I have tried several times to get a Dorman catalog since 2002 after I got some counterfeit axle studs from a local NAPA outlet.

It seems they had problems as well. Maybe the Japs have taken over that Co. too. I think NAP
A now has their own MFG/Distributor etc.

I'll look at the one 'online'& see what they have.

JM......
