Cutious to know if I am on the right track. Will be rebuilding my old integrated head 250ci someday, was thinking, go with a 194ci head (lump port it with PES?), stovebolt headers, want to to do the 3X2 intake manifold head plate thang, 3 2 BBLs appeals to me. Anyway, this rebuild is some time off but was wondering if I was on the right track.
I use my truck as a daily driver.
Thanks

Yes you can use the 194 head. The head will up your compression. How high? will depend on the pistons that you use. But even with the stock 250 piston the compression will increase. from the noraml 8-1,/8.5-1 to 9-1,/9.5-1,10-1?? if the head has been or get milled.
Also the head will need some machine work to install The lumps. And you will either need to add a plate to the intake for the lumps Or rework the lumps at The intake port. Because you have a Flat edge(3/8 tall) at the intake which will need tappering(shaping)The Boss in the head Needs to be removed and The head will need to be drilled from the head gasket side for the bolt that holds the lump in place.
Hope this helps }[oooooo]
