Will a 1992 300 head fit a 1969 240?

Yes it will work. But the combustion chambers are most likely larger. And there are a couple extra bolt holes holes for the intake/exhaust manifolds on the EFI head but your any 240/300 intake will bolt up.

Also get the 300 thermostat housing. The 300 has a bigger hole. The old housing will only leave a 1/32" margin, so change it.
