Just wondering if any of you guys/gals would
be interested in a fuel injection set up for
a mopar flathead six.
I am currently working on a kit for a friends 230 power wagon(1955). Any ideas or
questions welcome.

Hi Keith,Fuel Inj.would be a plus.Plan to build a '48 DeSoto club coupe in a few months w/a flat head six from a '53 chrysler.I wouldn't know the first thing about building a fuel injection sys.but am interesting in your idea. Am working on an inline six Mercedes benz w/two two barrels @ present.Regards...

I probably wouldn't want to install one myself, I like the "vintage" look of the original hot rod parts in mine, but I'd really be interested in hearing about the progress of this project. Can you keep us updated?

I should have this kit finished and tested
after january.I will keep you posted on the progress.
My plan is to use stock airbreather and
give the look of a carb and not efi.
This should interest guys who don't want to loose the vintage look.

Hows the injection going ? Thought about it myself many years ago for my flathead Dodge but the expense was a factor in shelving it. I looked at mechanical or electronic, MPI or CPI, injecter position. I'm keen to see what you did & how you did it ?

Fuel injection using low-cost salvage yard GM "batch fire" components ought to work basically the same as for the slant six ( or any number of other motors). Try the link to the slant article, there are several current message related to this topic on the message board at that site. Depending upon your skills in fabricating parts such as the fuel rail, EFI should not be too costly, the parts are common in pick-n-pull type yards. http://www.slantsix.org/articles/dibiase_efi/efi-conversion.htm
