any preferred vendor for brake line kits?

Keep in mind that long tubes whether brake or fuel are always shipped with a wide radius bend in the middle to fit the shipping boxes.This can be a nuisance to straighten correctly.Unless you're buying SS it might be easier and cheaper to make your own from tubing you can buy locally.Given that, I agree Inline Tube is one of the best.

Inline Tube and Speedway (and lots of other suppliers) sell and ship stainless steel tubing in 6-ft (or longer) straight lengths. As Drew stated, it is more satisfactory to make up custom lines with straight lines and a good tubing bender and flaring tool for AN fittings. Are you looking for pre-made kits or do-it-yourself supplies?

I bought a roll of 3/16ths brake line and needed fittings from NAPA. I cut, bent and double-flared my own brake lines. When I was finished bleeding the brakes, I had less than $32 in the whole process. A little work saves a LOT of money! Double-flaring steel tubing gets tedious, sometimes, but the effort's worth it.

What would you guys recommend for my 46 Chrysler? I need all new brake lines and wouldn't mind making my own lines. What size would I need and where can I get SS lines at? What is EVERYTHING I will need to do this as well?
