picked up an eaton M90 blower the other week and ended up bolting it on the side of my '23 buick (Oz 265 hemi powered)roadster.i had to drop the compression down from 11.5:1(propane fuelled)this was done by using an old copper head gasket,with a standard gasket on either side(giving a compressin ratio of 8.7:1) that i'd picked up at a swap meet years ago(o.80" thick)i then made an aluminium bracket to mount the blower on the spark plug side and made the lower pulley to overdrive the blower by 213%(total blower speed at 6500 rpm engine speed is around 13500rpm blower speed) which now gives 12-15lb's of boost.it blows through the 3 impco 225 propane mixers(twin E converters) and i use a nissan blow off valve to ease the preasure on the blower and motor when off boost.on the test drive it REALLY went well(gross understatment!)next will be a dyno tune to get a rear wheel HP reading(just for curiosity).total cost of the exersize(including the price of the blower-used)was$1600.now how do i post pictures on the site?
