You only need the hub and drums from a 1951 to 1954 Chevy passenger car for the swap. They have Bendix brakes just like your pickup. You may have to swap the bearings from one to the other for the swap. It's been a few decades since i have done this.

PS,the 57 drums are the same, but not the hubs. Also front and rear drums are the same and fit from 1951 to 1958 for the front. And 1951 to 1970 for the rear. Also some Corvair van and Corvette drums are the same. There is also some late model alum. drums that will fit.Consult with your local wrecking yard with the Hollander interchange system for more information.

Have the caddy axles and drums redrilled by a machine shop to a Chevy bolt pattern,or have the front drilled to match the Caddy bolt pattern.

Hello DR Tile,As I remember it, the frt. brakes and hubs off An Olds( maybe Buick & Pontiac) 54-58 are very easy to install and they would give you 5 on 5 bolt pattern you need. As I recall the Top holes in the Olds backing plate are the same and new Bottom holes have to be drilled to match the pick up spindle. Also the bottom holes may require some new/shop made spacers and correct length bolts---Paul
