anyone ever taken the shocks off of their truck to lower it? I have done it on a few vehicles for a temporary lowering before i did the lowering kit....some rode good some were horrible....anyone ever done it on a C10 long bed? How does it ride?

Shocks dont control the ride height of a vehicle they only controll the action of the springs,they absorb the shock and keep it from bouncing,if a vehicle is lowered by removing the shock absorbers then you probably dont need a lowering kit cause youre springs are hooped...jimm
