Got my truck back from the paint shop yesterday,
it looks awesome ocean green with black fenders and running boards.
i stil have to put those on the truck, but i first want to put in all the cab glass.
now there is the problem, the old windshield has two spots in it and those spots are to old and contaminated to be repaired. now looking for an other windshield it seems i can only get one with a blue sunband in it. Seen the fact that i am verry tall and already look trough the upper side of the windshield. And i also think it doesn't look right on my truck. I am looking for a claer windshield does anyone know if those ar still made or is there any other way of getting a clear windshield in the Netherlands.

Thanks,
Dennis

Dennis, The following sites all sell the glass you need. I don't know what their pay/shipping policy is for overseas,but all are very reputable dealers. I have also seen new glass for sale on eBay, but have never purchased it on eBay so I can't speak for the seller.

Thanks John and Drew;

I've searched a few weeks longer for a clear windshield. It turned out to become very expensive to ship one to the Netherlands.
So i decided to go with the shaded one it costs only a third of a clear one and i can finaly go on with my project.

Thanks for the replies they were very useful in the hunt for a windshield.

Dennis.

Dear Dennis;

They haven't MFG totally clear windshilds in the USA since the 60s making the 'shaded' type 'standard.'

Glad to hear you found what you wanted.
