Inliners International Forums General Discussion Truck Talk 1956 chevy truck starter

My 1956 ( 235/3speed trans )chevy has a mechanical pedal starter and I would like to change it to a later trun key starter. Does anyone know a make and model starter that is a straight bolt on?

Use a 55-57 Chevy car starter and the same in an ignition switch.Actually you can use other GM models up to 1962, but that's a start.
