I guess this is about as close to Hudson as I am going to get...
I took my '41 Hudson coupe out to the eighth mile drags a few weeks ago and I got into the 8's with it. I ran an 8.91, and an 8.86. The guy in the 5.0 Mustang was so shocked and embarrassed... He picked up his time slip and left!!!
I love it!
I'm runniing a '54 Hudson Hornet flathead 6 with two Rochester 2g's.

That's an eye opener! I didn't know those cars could run that fast. I just read an article in a magazine, can't remember the name. The piece was about the flathead Ford V8 that went 300 mph on salt flats. I believe they got 340 hp from the motor before they tried supercharging. I think a Hudson six might have more potential than the Ford 8.

hi, i have a 37 terraplane 212 inline, i want to make it go... this coupe is orig. just want to make it spin the tires. lol. and get rid of that wet clutch ? will go to your site also, thanks.
