I'm rebuilding my 230 block #3850817 with 250 crank #460407.
My question is: The main bearing (Clevite MS-617P-10) oil holes don't line up with the holes in the block. The block holes do line up with the slot in the ring so oil with penetrate and lube the bearings. I'm just concerned that they don't allow enough oil to penetrate the properly lubricate the bearings.
I'm looking into 230 +.10 bearing to see if they match.
Should I stop and get the 230 bearings first?
Secondly: The rear main seal, on the engine now, has a "T" on either side of the lower seal (similar too the wings on the oil pan to timing cover seal) that fit into groves in the rear main. The seal I got in my kit (Victor Reniz) has no "T's".
Any advise? Thanks, in advance.
Bill

King bearings are the only bearing made for our inlines 6's perfectly.
At least as far as I know that are the only bearings.
Rod bearing set: CR 624AM

Main bearing set: MB 752SI
