Hey Guys:
I just came upon a write up in the Jan. issue Of Hot Rod Mag that may be of interest.

It's about a "Lost Speed Shop" (opened in 1950) that has lots of NOS on its shelves. Of special note was a sentence that said there were a lot of intake manifolds for "oddball inlines". It might be a gold mine source for you guys trying to find parts for your vintage engines.

It is still run by the original owner, who you might understand does not own a computer. But his son recently joined him and started a website. I haven't had time to check it out yet, but it is http://www.salemspeedshop.com
see what you think!

Pappy,It's a great story on their Home Page. If you were looking for something inline, it probably is well worth the call.

How much fun would it be to go there and poke around? I bet stuff is flying out of there now!

As soon as you walked thru the door, you probably would feel like you took a trip in a time machine, and it was 1950 again....

Maybe they should move it to Frontierland in Disneyland!
