I am going to install a coolant temp gauge on my 230.

If I can, I would like to keep the idiot light function as well.

Can I just use a tee and install both senders or will the tee keep them too far away from the coolant in the head?

Should I just forget the light and use only the gauge sender?

Thanks.

You can use both, installed with a "T" or installed in 2 different places (ie. side of the head and the coolant elbow or ??? any place the coolant flows and a suitable fitting is available. Is the light to remind you to look at the guage??

Well...you know how it is. You look at a gauge all the time and pretty soon you are looking but not seeing. I figure if I can keep the idiot light it makes sense....me being an idiot and all.

Thanks for the help.
